The event will feature live patriotic music by Georgia’s longest operating community band, the Athens Classic City Band, BBQ for sale by Pot’s BBQ and Ice-cream for sale by Antique Sweets! Claim your favorite spot and brace yourself for a ‘booming’ show as the annual fireworks ignite to light up the sky over Bill Wood Park (fka Heritage Park) at dusk.
July 3 | Independence Day Fireworks Celebration |Central Georgia Technical College, Milledgeville, GA

The City of Milledgeville will host its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration Tuesday, July 3 at Central Georgia Technical College’s Milledgeville Campus, 54 Hwy 22 W, beginning at nightfall around 8:30-9pm. Zambelli Fireworks will shoot the fireworks display from the CGTC parking lot, which will be closed to spectators. Spectators should plan to park in other areas such as the Walter B. Williams Park, Board of Education, or other places within the viewing area. For more information, visit here

Lake Oconee native, Eric Dodd returns to the Backyard after recently relocating to Nashville to further his dreams as a writer and performer. Dodd’s music style weaves between soulful country and Americana folk. Our fireworks display will conclude after the concert. For more information, visit here

We’re throwing a July Fourth Celebration at The Landing that you won’t want to miss! Wristbands are currently available for purchase on property. Due to limited parking, overflow parking will be available at First United Methodist Church on Carey Station Road and at Lakeside Church on Highway 44.
Live Entertainment: DJ Danny D 1:00pm – 7:00pm at The Landing Pool, The American Flyers 6:00pm at The Landing Driving Range, All That 9:30pm at The Landing Pavillion.
Shuttles will run on a 30 minute loop from pick up site to event, beginning at 6:00pm. All sales will be credit card or Member charge. Cash will not be accepted. $10.00 per child for Grill Out Buffet, $20.00 per adult for Grill Out Buffet, $15.00 per child for Recreation Experience.
