I love food. I start fantasizing about lunchtime around 10:30 in the morning. So when I get to write about local restaurants, I’m all up in that. I have favorite dishes in nearly every restaurant in the area. That being said, I haven’t been to Waterside in Cuscowilla for a while. And, just when I was entertaining a trip over there for the Truffle Feta Fries with Dilled Ranch Sauce, or the Blackened Mahi Mahi with Pineapple Salsa, I find out that as of April 11, 2018, The Waterside Restaurant will be open only to members and their guests.
If you are also a non-resident but love Waterside fare, don’t despair! At the end of April, they will be offering a “Social Membership” that will allow non-resident access to The Waterside, two swimming pools, the fitness facility and the tennis courts. As Cuscowilla’s swimming pool is currently under renovations to take it from drab to FAB, and there are plans being drawn up as we speak to improve and update other amenities, this social membership option will make it possible for non-residents to partake of the perks inside the gates of Cuscowilla. Contact Maddie Atkinson to find out about the limited Social Membership at [email protected], and contact Kim Logan at (706) 338-0757 about viewing property at Cuscowilla.
