Warrior Moms: Finding Comfort in Shared Experiences
Warrior Moms is an organization that brings together mothers who have lost children, creating a supportive community where they can share their stories, find comfort, and encourage one another.
The Warrior Moms Retreat, themed Finding the Warrior Within, was held at Briarpatch Farm in Eatonton, Georgia. The weekend offered meaningful opportunities for connection, reflection, laughter, and hope through inspiring speakers, workshops, music, and shared experiences.
For Kim, being surrounded by other grieving mothers was both heartbreaking and healing.
"As a mother who has lost a child, being with these women brought back so much pain. My heart hurt for each of them because I understand what they're going through. But it also made me realize how far I've come in my own journey. I'm grateful God has given me the healing, strength, and courage to face each day."
The experience reminded Kim that grief is a journey, and having others who understand that loss can make a meaningful difference.
Turning Personal Loss Into a Purpose to Help Others
Following the loss of her child, Kim turned to work as a way to stay busy and cope with her grief.
She started a business to keep herself occupied during an incredibly difficult time, eventually building Kim and Lin Logan Real Estate into one of the leading real estate teams serving Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair.
Kim also founded Brittney Cares, a charitable organization dedicated to helping individuals and families throughout the local community.
What began as a way to navigate personal loss grew into opportunities to help others.
Kim credits her faith for giving her the strength to build both her business and her charity while continuing her own healing journey.
A Special Songwriter's Night Benefiting Warrior Moms
The retreat weekend began with an inspiring evening of live music at Briarpatch Farm.
Presented by Briarpatch Farm and TC Productions, Songwriter's Night: Girls Night In! took place on Friday, November 6, 2026, to benefit Warrior Moms.

Their performances created a memorable beginning to the retreat weekend, bringing people together through music and a shared commitment to supporting grieving mothers.
