December 2025 Lake Oconee Market Update
As 2025 draws to a close and the holiday season approaches, we hope everyone has had a safe and prosperous 2025! The Kim and Lin Logan Team had another great year of dominance in our market, and as of this newsletter, has sold more real estate (total sales volume) than any other individual agent or team in our market. Our total credited sales from the MLS are over $130,000,000. It is no accident, because our amazing team of agents works tirelessly to be the most knowledgeable sources of information in our market and to provide the highest level of customer service. This is now TWO DECADES that we have been #1 in our market! We are very optimistic and excited for 2026. We send our best wishes for your success in 2026, too!
Our market continues to benefit from an improving economy, and people's desire to escape from other parts of the country/world to live in warmer climates with the wonderful lifestyle and amenities of the lake country. As a result, demand (buyer activity) remains strong. New construction and development have continued to increase over the past year. Consequently, it is a very favorable market for both buyers and sellers.
You can see from the statistics below that the Lake Oconee market was very similar from 2024 to 2025. The metrics demonstrate the stability of our market with an 8% increase in the average home sold price. These statistics are from the January 1st to December 8th (date of this newsletter) time frame each year, and the data is from the LCBORMLS.
