Farmview Schoolhouse is hosting another meal planning class complete with advice on how and what meals to plan, a two week meal plan and a shopping list. This class focuses on farm to table foods making it an excellent choice for families who looking to eat healthier and save money. This class starts at5:30PM and is $25/person. Wednesday, August 10th – 12th | Tasties, Toddies & Theatrics | Greensboro

If you love Broadway shows, then this is the event for you. This is The Lake Country Players 5th Annual Tasties, Toddies & Theatrics show. You’ll enjoy Broadway tunes and English comedy. Saturday, August 12th | Make and Take Tea Blending Class | Madison

Farmview hits another homerun with this class focusing on tea blending. You’ll learn everything you need to know about creating unique tea blends with the award-winning tea maker, Andi Biron. Join the Putnam County Recreation Department for a Back to School Celebration. Starting at 5:30 the community can come out and enjoy a car show, bounce-y house, games and more. Saturday, August 12th | Meet Me at the Plaza Outdoor Concert Series | Eatonton

The last performance in the Outdoor Summer Concert Series at the Plaza Arts Center will feature the local band, Good Vibrations. Good Vibrations plays a variety of music including classic rock, oldies, Motown and more. The concert will start at 7:00PM and tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. If you’re wondering what a hypertufa is then you’re in the same boat as us. A hypertufa is actually a cement like plant holder. They are very beautiful and come in all shape and sizes. This Farmview Schoolhouse workshop with Jim Rowland shows you the ins and outs of creating a hypertufa planter AND you get to take it home when you’re finished! Wednesday, August 23rd | Pasta-Making 101 | Madison

Join culinary butcher John Stapleton in this workshop all about pasta making. This two-hour workshop is geared towards learning how to make pasta from beginning to end. Students will make two different kinds of noodles, fettucine and pappardelle as well as learn all the basics for all pasta making. You’ll also learn how to make a yummy sauce to go with your noodles! The Jake Bartley Band will be playing at the Eatonton Cotton Warehouse for their Summer Nights Concert Series sponsored by Eatonton Main Street and The Peoples Bank. Based out of South Carolina, the Jake Bartley Band plays a mixture of country, rock and jazz. They have been recognized both as a band and individually across the nation. Memory Lane Classic Car Museum is hosting a “parking lot party” and free concert in the parking lot of their museum! This is a free event and sure to be a good time. The Blind Driver Band will be performing live and there will even be an Elvis impersonator! The party will take place from 7PM-10PM.
