Healing Hearts and Horses, Inc. is a local nonprofit with a powerful mission:
“We rescue abused and unwanted horses from slaughter and transform them into healing companions for people in need.”
These horses, once neglected or discarded, are rehabilitated and given a second chance—not just at life, but at becoming part of someone’s healing journey. Whether it’s children overcoming trauma, adults struggling with mental health, or families navigating hardship, these horses help bring peace, comfort, and emotional support in ways only animals can.
Through this event and continued community support, Healing Hearts and Horses can expand its outreach, provide better care for rescued horses, and offer transformative programs for those in need of healing.
