Lifting Up Tracy With Care and Hope
Recently, we had the privilege of donating to Tracy Fernelius, who was diagnosed with end stage heart failure nearly two years ago. Since that diagnosis, her life has been marked by countless appointments, treatments, and the emotional challenges that come with a serious heart condition.
Tracy is currently awaiting LVAD surgery, a procedure designed to help her heart pump blood more effectively. If she is approved following this stage, she will then move forward in the process toward a heart transplant.
Brittney Cares: Making a Difference
Medical challenges often bring financial strain through hospital stays, travel, time away from work, and ongoing treatment costs. Brittney Cares was founded to help ease some of that burden so families like Tracy’s can focus on healing and hope rather than added stress.
Our mission is rooted in compassion and action. We step in quietly and intentionally, supporting neighbors throughout Lake Oconee, Lake Sinclair, Madison, and the surrounding communities. Each family we serve reminds us why this foundation was created.
We are grateful to live in a place where generosity runs deep and people rally around one another. The strength we witness in families facing adversity is inspiring, and it reinforces our commitment to continue serving.
