Autumn weather is here, and Halloween celebrations are right around the corner. Whether you’re in the mood for carving pumpkins or holiday fright, you are in luck at Lake Oconee.

Lakeside Pumpkin Patch

Right off highway 44, Lakeside church is hosting their annual Lakeside pumpkin patch from 11-7 on weekdays, Saturday from 10-6, and Sundays from 12:30-5.

There is a range of pumpkins available will all proceeds being donated to the Children’s and student ministries of Lakeside church.

Ritz Carlton Celebrate Autumn Festivities

Whether you’re a local resident or visiting the area head down to the Ritz Carlton to celebrate their Great Pumpkin Festival.

There is a daily walk through the pumpkin patch, and daily carving taking place from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. And daily rides on the Linger Longer Express at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.

On Saturday, October 26th, and Thursday, October 31st, there are a variety of events for everyone in the family. Space is limited, and reservations may be required.

  • 2 pm – Creepy Candy Crafting: Create spooky-themed confections alongside our sugar wizards.

  • 5 to 6 pm – Happy Haunted Hay Rides: Haunted tales of Halloween past are told as guests make their way around the resort.

  • 8 to 10:30 pm -Trick or Treat S’mores: Build ooey, gooey, and traditional s’ mores with a variety of chocolate candy choices at the Campfire in The Backyard.

Haunted History Tours In Madison, GA

Should you want a good Halloween scare, book a narrated ghost walk through the town of Madison. Each tour provides a thought-provoking look into the local history and hauntings. The tours begin at 7:30 pm except Halloween Nights tour starts at 8 pm. Tours are $15 for adults. Adult tours are not recommended for children under 8, but alternative tours can be arranged through here.
