June 2| Putnam County Dairy Festival | Courthouse Lawn, Eatonton

Gather on the courthouse lawn for Eatonton’s largest annual festival. This event begins with a Peachtree qualifying 10K race and a community parade. This concert for young audiences will explore the original ‘world music’, played by modern day nomadic peoples of Europe, as well as by many aficionados around the world. The infection syncopation and nuttiness of 1930’s Swing Era music, mixed up with the mysterious and magical sounds of fingers flying on acoustic stringed instruments will conjure visions of caravans and Parisian cafes in the fertile minds of its young listeners. Over the years, Mansfield has contributed almost $7 million to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). This year, we are proud to announce the formation of Mansfield Cares, Inc., a new 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which enables us to expand our philanthropic efforts to support more organizations.
