Every year kids around the world have to take a Criterion-Referenced Competency Test(CRCT) and the scores were higher than average for the students at Lake Oconee Academy. This test covers Reading, English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies.
A perfect Score would be a 500 and Lake Oconee Acadamy scored a 496.4. This public charter school requires a uniform dress code and prepares kids for the college diplomas, as well as real world experiences through job shadowing and internships. Lake Oconee Academy is located on Carey Station Road and opened in the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year. They offer grades Pre-k through 8th grade and continue to add a grade each year. The application closing date to apply for the 2014-2015 school ear is April 4,2014. This will be opening grades pre-k through 9th grade.
